DTC JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS
Compete and have a great time with teammates this summer on our Junior Team Tennis League. The Denver Country Club and Denver Tennis Club join forces to form teams for junior players 18 years of age and younger. Juniors will be placed on teams based on age and ability level.
Practices will be held at the Denver Tennis Club onTuesdays and the Denver Country Club on Thursdays. Please read over the player requirements before registering your junior. We have created the following requirements in order to run our program effectively. Please keep in mind that our team captains are parent volunteers , and they put in a great deal of time and effort to make this program run successfully.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
(DTC players must be a junior members and associated with DTC programs to be considered for team placement)
Player must be able to serve, keep score and attend an evaluation session or get a pro evaluation through a lesson. (Evaluations are optional for players that participated last year.)
Player should be committed to a minimum of 4 match dates in order to be placed on a roster.
Player should keep August 10-12 available for the State Championship (team must qualify).
Player needs to have transportation to and from, home and away matches.
IMPORTANT DATES, TIMES and INFORMATION
· Registration Deadline: May 15, 2012
· League Fee: $60 (Includes team shirt. Practices are a separate fee listed below.
· Matches: Mondays June 11 - July 30
* 10 & Under, 12 & Under 8:30 AM
* 18 & Under 10:30 AM
* 14 & Under 12:30 PM
· State Championship: August 10, 11, and 12 Times TBA *team must qualify*
PRACTICES
Tuesdays (DCC) & Thursdays( DTC) June 5 – August 2 1:30 – 3:00 PM
(All practices will be charged to account at end of each session. No checks or prepayment accepted this year.)
June 5-28 (1-2 practices: $18 each), (3-6 practices: $15 each) and (7-8 practices: $100)
* July 3-26 (1-2 practices: $18 each), (3-6 practices: $15 each) and (7-8 practices: $100)
* July 31 and August 2 ($18 per practice or $30 for both)
· Supplemental Team Practices: Monday -Friday June 6—August 1 (Private Individual Team Practices available upon request)

PAST COMMUNICATIONS
Hello!
The DTC and the DCC are starting to plan for the upcoming tennis season.
The matches will be on Mondays at the same times for each of the age groups.
(8:30-10's & 12's, 10:30-18's, 12:30- 14's)
The season runs seven weeks from June 18- July 30. The State Competition will be Friday-Sunday, August 10-12.
Please let us know by mid-April whether your child is interested in playing for one of our teams. Don't worry if you don't know your exact summer plans yet; we are just trying to get an idea of how many players at which ages and levels we might have, so that we can begin forming teams.
When you respond, please include your child's name, as well as what his/her age will be on August 12, 2012.
We will hold team practices again this summer during the months of June and July. The practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 to 3:00, beginning June 5. Please also let us know if you think your child will be interested in attending the practices. Tuesday practices will be at the DCC and Thursday practices will be at the DTC.
